This is a great way to help your employees with their career and integration processes. Even if your employees do not necessarily need the German language for work, speaking the language of their residence country helps them enormously in their daily life.

I have met so many students, who would love to feel much better in their new environment speaking the language, but they do not necessarily need it at work. Even if their colleagues speak to them in English, they still feel bad about it and sometimes feel left out in the small talk, etc. In their personal life, they might get by using a translator app or something, but not really enjoy it.
